AASC Mesonet Community
The AASC Mesonet Community unites numerous weather station networks dedicated to dense spatial observations with high temporal resolution that complement existing climate datasets in the states they serve. It works to foster a community of practice by enhancing standardizations and recommendations to define the next generation of data collection with an emphasis on long-term climate monitoring and real-time weather data. The community is comprised of diverse purpose networks with high-quality instrumentation and intensive quality control/assurance and maintenance procedures that ensure longevity, consistency and uniformity.
