The next AASC Mesonet Community Meeting is scheduled for July 22-24, 2025 in Albany, New York.

The AASC Mesonet Committee is proud to announce that the 2025 AASC Mesonet Community Meeting will take place in Albany, NY at the the University at Albany’s ETEC Building from Tuesday, July 22nd through Thursday, July 24th, 2025. 

A room block is available at the Hampton Inn Albany-Western Ave/University Area, close to the meeting site.  The block rate is $117/night and is valid July 20-26.  The block rate expires on June 20.  Click here to reserve a room at the block rate.

So far, we have two events planned for the meeting. The first will be an evening at the Indian Ladder Cidery and Brewery, which is about 20 minutes from the meeting venue.  We’ll have a tour of a NYSM weather station  located near the Cidery, followed by a happy hour and food at the Cidery, which is usually provided by a food truck/caterer. The second event is a trip to Whiteface Mountain Field Station and Summit Observatory located in the Adirondack Mountains on Friday, July 25th. This will be an optional field trip.  Cost and travel details will be shared closer to when registration opens.

We are excited for the opportunity to come together again to share our experiences and learn from each other.  More details about submitting oral and poster presentations, sponsorship opportunities, as well as lodging and travel information will be shared out as they become available.  A meeting agenda will be announced late next spring.  

Finally, we’d like to thank the New York State Mesonet for hosting us at this wonderful venue and location next year.  I can’t wait to see you there!
